Mission YMCA Day Camp provides children and youth with an opportunity to have fun and experience challenges in a safe environment. The major focus of day camp is to present children with new opportunities and to broaden their experiences through group activities and adventure trips and to learn and develop leadership skills within small, age-appropriate groups.

2008 WINTER BREAK CAMPS

   

Winter Camp is designed to fit the needs of children and parents during the holidays. Day camps incorporate on-site and outdoor activities, including sports, games, and arts & crafts. Field trips and adventure activities are included in some of the programs as well.

Our Mission YMCA day camps provide children and youth with an opportunity to have fun and experience challenges in a safe environment with an experienced and well trained camp staff. We focus on presenting children with new opportunities and broadening their experiences through group activities and adventure trips.

We Provide:

  • Activities for youth going into Kindergarten through High School.
  • Emphasis on Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
  • Dedicated, enthusiastic directors and counselors, who are YMCA trained and CPR &
  • First Aid certified.
  • Daily field trips in the Bay Area.
  • No extra charges for extended hours.
  • Scholarships are available.
  • $40 Deposit reserves your child’s space.
  • Hurry! Spaces fill quickly.

Cost

Each one week session costs $170 per week. Currently afterschool participants pay no additional fee.

Dates
 

  • Week One
    December 22-26,
    We close at 12pm on December 24th and there is no camp on December 25th.
     
  • Week Two
    December 29 - January 2
    We close at 4pm on December 31st and there is no camp on January 1st.

Financial Aid:

   

Financial assistance is offered on a first come, first served basis and is awarded to as as many qualified applicants as our funds allow. The Financial Assistance Program is funded by generous donors, who contribute through our Annual Community Support Campaign. 

 

Financial assistance is awarded on a sliding scale based on your income and residency. We cannot determine the amount of your award until we have processed your application.

 

All financial information is confidential. Staff of the Administrative Department and Front Desk are the only people that will see your information.
