We are proud of our very active Senior Center here at the Mission YMCA. Our Senior Center, located at 4080 Mission Street, is open to anyone 55 years of age or older, Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 3:30pm.
We offer a wide variety of programs and services to our seniors, from fitness classes that are adapted to the needs of the active older adult, to traveling excursions for the Get-Up-and-Go crowd. We also have Tai Chi and Movement classes that focus on the whole body, mind and spirit.
Recreation is a major ingredient of our Senior Center. Don’t miss out on BINGO or our afternoon movies. Health and Nutrition is also a vital part of our center. Hot lunches are served daily for a voluntary donation. Healthy services include blood pressure monitoring, various monthly health screenings, food clinics and nutritional counseling.
We celebrate Special Events, like holidays, in style with very special festivities during December.
We also have loads of Excursions! What would a Senior Center be without excursions? We offer a variety of trips. Every trip is a fun-filled experience.
