Parent/Child Activities
For grades K-5
Adventure Guides and Princesses is designed around the relationship between a father and their child(ren).
Father/child are placed in a circle that meets monthly at members homes. Every four to six weeks the circles come together for a YMCA sponsored event, which could include campouts, a father/daughter dance, pinewood derby, or a Warriors basketball game. The program runs September through June. To join us or start a circle of your own, contact Nick Stone at 415-446-2178.

Parents and their children learn to develop trust and safety in the water.
Children become aware of the differences between moving through water and on dry land, while parents gain knowledge in how to keep their child safe in and around water. Instructors develop a bond with the children that helps prepare them for classes without the parent/guardian.
