The YMCA volunteer program is one of the finest in the United States

At the Embarcadero YMCA, up to 200 dedicated volunteers from all over the Bay Area give anywhere from two to ten hours of time every month

It is the commitment of these individuals, in all areas of the Embarcadero YMCA that changes the lives of people in our community, one at a time. Our volunteers receive training for all positions they assume and we all bask in the good will and virtuous cycle of their work.

Whether you want to lead a group of adults in a group exercise class, read to formerly homeless children or mentor an at-risk teen, the Embarcadero YMCA has a need for your skills.
