Directions to the Embarcadero YMCA

We are located at 169 Steuart Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, between Mission and Howard Streets

Using BART/Muni

Take any Muni or BART train to the Embarcadero Station. Walk east on Market Street, approximately one block, to Steuart. Turn right on Steuart Street and walk 2 blocks. If using Muni buses take any bus that goes east on Market Street to the Ferry Building/Steuart Street and, depending where you exit the bus, walk south 1 or 2 blocks.

Driving from the East Bay - Exit off the Bay Bridge at the Fremont Street exit. Take Fremont Street north to Market Street. Take a right onto Market Street and follow to Steuart Street. Turn right on Steuart Street and take for 2 blocks.

Parking

Cars: Reduced Rate Validated Parking

The Equity Office Garage (located on Howard Street, between Spear and Steuart) offers discounted parking to our members after 4pm. Tickets must be validated with a sticker at the YMCA Courtesy Counter. Tickets outside of the designated times, even if validated, will not be eligible for discounted parking. Full rates apply without validation.

Monday - Friday  4 pm - 10 pm $8 regular evening rate, and $6 with validation

Street parking around the Embarcadero YMCA is metered. Typically, the meters are 1 to 2 hours and cost betweem $2 to $4 per hour and some don't take the San Francisco Parking Cards. Most meters are free seven days a week after 7:00pm. For more information go here.

Bikes:

The Embarcadero YMCA has bike parking in the building, on the 5th floor (roof). Please be sure to use the elevator, as bikes are not allowed in stairwells. Bikes cannot be left overnight. Any bike left in the facility for 30 days will be considered abandonded and will be donated to a charitable organization. For more information, please call 957-9622.
