As a branch of the YMCA of San Francisco, the Embarcadero YMCA builds strong kids, strong families, and strong communities by enriching the lives of all people in spirit, mind and body.
Thanks to our generous donors, we can welcome children, teens, adults and families who are unable to afford the full cost of participation in a YMCA program or activity
In 2008-2009, the Embarcadero YMCA served 12,743 participants of all ages, gave out $1,447,769 in free and subsidized programs to the community, and served 1730 participants under the age of 18 at five different sites. Every donor and every single donation to our annual Strong Communities Campaign helps us serve those participants.
