YMCA charters buses provide transportation to resident camp:

  • You must register for the bus at a cost of $40 each way
  • Camp Staff will be on board each bus to supervise campers.
  • Before each trip, a counselor will explain the safety rules, such as staying seated and keeping noise down.
  • Please keep campers in a designated, safe area in the parking lot until they have been properly checked in.
  • If your child misses the bus, it is your responsibility to get your child to camp.

Stay-over weekends connect sessions for a longer stay!

Registered campers can stay at camp for activities between sessions for no additional cost.

When one week of YMCA Camp Jones Gulch just isn’t enough, there is the stay-over weekends! A perfect transition between two full weeks of camp, the stay-over can provide some much needed time to recharge your camp batteries or provide you with the opportunity to do special stay-over-only activities. Hang out and eat treats, take a night time ride on the zip line, or explore the outer reaches of camp.

Stay-Over Weekends:

Session 3/4: July 6-8
Session 5/6: July 20-22
Session 8/9: August 10-12

Weekend stay-overs gives your child the chance to spend multiple weeks at camp without the need to return home on the weekends. Campers staying over for the weekend will engage in both new activities only offered to during the weekend or get to do some of our camp activities but with an additional twist not all campers get to experience. For example, weekend activities could include night time zip line, all-camp competitions and games, bounce house, or night hike.

We ask that parents pack enough clothing for two weeks. Camp can wash essentials if needed.
