Hayward Rec Connect

The Rec Connect Initiative was created to provide a vibrant community hub for San Francisco families.

It is a public-private partnership, sponsored by the Department of Children Youth and Families and the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department, and Community Based Organizations. In our case, the Buchanan YMCA and is the partner in this unique opportunity. We are pleased to announce that the Hamilton Rec Connect program has moved to Margaret Hayward Playground, due to Hamilton's rennovation schedule. We provide free enrichment programs for youth and families and are charged with designing and implementing recreational programs which serve children, youth, and families in a welcoming, healthy, and safe environment.

All programming for the Hayward Rec Connect is free. We offer programs for parents, toddlers/preschoolers, families, youth and teens. Everyone is welcome!

Inquires should be sent to Diane Colquhoun or call, (415) 292-2018.
