Located at The Chinese Immersion School at De Avila is a licensed program through the Child Development Program of San Francisco Unified School District. Our program focuses on values, academic support, and enrichment activities. Am care begins at 7:30am and PM Care closes at 6pm. The mission of the Before and After School Program at the Chinese Immersion School at DeAvila is to provide a safe, fun, academically enhancing, arts enriched, physically healthy, culturally relevant and supportive environment. Programming is grounded by the establishment of quality relationships with caring adults and the principles of self-determination, cultural and economic diversity, and community building. Program participants will feel confident, develop critical consciousness and feel connected to themselves, their school, and the larger community. Youth will feel optimistic about all aspects of their lives, recognize that they have choices and have the foundational skills and experiences from which they will contribute positively to society as they grow.
