    Cepeda Baseball is proud to host our three day camp in San Francisco, CA.  Participants in this camp will receive 3 full days of professional instruction and knowledge they can use throughout their baseball careers. We will approach this opportunity with an outlook for the future, and plan to teach the proper way to play and succeed in the sport. Baseball is a great way to learn the ways of life and getting a chance to relay it to the youth of today is a great honor.   

For Gina Fromer, helping young residents of Bayview Hunters Point find work and pursue an education is not just part of her job – it’s a calling.

On Thursday, May 06, 2010, the Bayview Hunters Point YMCA “Choizes” Teen Center was pleased to welcome actor, activist, and San Francisco native Danny Glover for an uplifting and memorable presentation.  Over 40 youth (ages 11-18) from different organizations took part in this amazing evening.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- Barclays Spaces for Sports awards $50,000 to Bayview Hunters Point YMCA for academic and youth sports programs

A $238,000 federal grant will go toward expanding an anti-truancy initiative in San Francisco's Bayview District, the district attorney's office announced Wednesday.

A day after San Francisco school officials outlined a desperate plan to cut costs that included boosting class sizes and cutting summer school, city leaders on Wednesday countered with an announcement of new federal funds to help chronically truant students get back on track.

The Bayview YMCA was awarded $2,000 for it's commitment and service to the community.

The Metta Fund has chosen the Bayview YMCA as the recipient for a $90k to support our Community Teen Resource Center.
