The Beacon's youth programming will include: homework help/tutoring, dance, cooking, employment, college/career exploration and sports. Adult classes/services will include GED, ESL, dance, employment workshops and more!! There will also be academic case management, and workshops for adults and students that will help raise self awareness, respect and esteem. All programs are designed to give youth and adults tools to live successful and prosperous lives. Food is served. Best of all, everyone is welcome and all services are FREE.

The Beacon will work with young people to move them toward self-realization, empowerment, educational achievement, skill building, and strong youth development principles. Located in a New Day for Learning "early adopter" school, the Beacon will be at the cutting edge of leading project based learning, community connectedness, and community -driven learning models.
