We make it easy for you to join the YMCA, with no joining fee and financial assistance available for those who qualify.

Facility Membership

Facility members are members who pay a monthly fee and have full access to the facility. Monthly membership fees may be paid by automatic debit from your checking account, Visa or Master Card account. Manual payments can be made for terms of 3, 6, or 12 months.  Program fees for Facility members are at a lesser rate than Program members or Community members.

Program Membership

Program members are members who pay an annual fee and are considered a program member because they do not pay a monthly fee and only have access to the YMCA when their program is in session. The Program Membership is good for 1 year and members can sign up for any programs during that time period. The annual fee is $35.00 for single individual and $50.00 for a family. Program members still pay a fee for programs but the program fee is at a lesser rate than community members.

Community Membership

Community Members are members that are charged at a higher rate for every program that the YMCA offers. They pay a higher rate for programs because they do not pay an annual fee for membership. They also do not pay a monthly fee therefore, they can only come to the YMCA when their program is in session. There are only certain programs avaliable for community members, please call Member Services at (707) 421-8746 for more information.

Bay Area Membership (BAM)

A Bay Area Membership allows you to visit any Bay Area YMCA at no extra charge. You receive the benefits of a Facility membership, plus the freedom to go to any YMCA facility on our list of Bay Area YMCA locations.

Monthly fee: $75 (Adult) $125 (Family)
Joining Fee: $99.00

San Francisco Area Membership(SAM)

A SAM membership allows you to visit the San Francisco YMCA's at no extra charge. You receive the benefits of a Facility Membership at the North Bay YMCA, as well as membership priviledges at any of the YMCA of San Francisco's 10 branch facility locations.

Monthly fee: $75 (Adult) $125 (Family)

Active Military Membership

Monthly fee: $36 (Adult)  $55 (Family)

Y-Weekender

The Y-Weekender Program allows facility use on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.  Individual and Family plans are available for 6 or 12 month terms.  When you purchase a 12 month Y-Weekender you get a 13th month free of charge.  Some restrictions apply.
