Water Fitness Classes

Water Exercise

Exercise program using the resistance of water to develop muscular strength and flexibility. This class uses your body against the water for resistance. Noodles, foam underwater weights or steps may be used to increase intensity. Low to moderate intensity class.

Aqua Aerobics
High energy aerobics in the water with low impact effects. Includes a warmup, 25-30 minutes of cardio work, 5 - 10 minutes of strengthening and abdominal work - not necessarily in that order. Classes can be adjusted to suit any fitness level - the more you push, the more water pushes back.

Basic Range of Motion
Theis exercise program is designed for arthritis and other joint related problems. The primary focus is on moving each joint through the full range of motion.

Range of Motion Plus
Similar to the Basic Range of Motion program, the Plus program adds a functional strength and endurance component that lasts 15-20 minutes You must participate in the Basic Range of Motion program for a minimum of four weeks.
