Imagine how hard life can be when you’re worried about the health and safety of your children or the well being of your parents.
Imagine the joy children feel when they first learn to write their name, go on a fun and educational field trip, or race each other to the far end of the playground. Imagine the joy an older adult feels when they greet their friends each day, enjoy a hot and nutritious meal, and share the warmth of companionship.
Last year the Mission YMCA worked with over 3,000 local families to provide quality before and after school care, healthy and safe youth and teen enrichment programs, summer camps, and social and recreational opportunities for older adults. The YMCA is always working to strengthen vital community resources.
