Advanced Step

Step class taught at a higher intensity and more complex choreography than a regular step class.

Afro-Brasilian Dance

A fun-filled cardio workout performed to African rhythms.  No dance experience necessary.

Body Shop

Non-aerobic body conditioning designed to strengthen and tone the major muscle groups. Varying combinations of hand weights, rubber tubing and the body's own resistance is used. This class accommodates most exercise levels.

Boot Camp

An advanced level class that combines cardio with weights

Capoeira

A Brazilian martial art which is a combination of self-defense, dance, and acrobatics. For adults and children (7 & up).

Cardio Fusion

A high energy combination of kick boxing, step and weights.

Cardio Light

A 50-minute aerobic class designed for beginners or for those who need a slower paced aerobic class.

Core Express

A 30 minute class designed to work the abdominals and lower back.

Cross Training

Advanced high-energy workout that incorporates a variety of training styles. Prepare for circuits, jogging, drills, sprints and other creative fitness techniques.

Cycling

An intense cardiovascular workout utilizing specially designed indoor bikes. The workout simulates an outdoor ride with hills, sprints, and various drills. Intermediate to Advanced.

Disco Cycle

A variation of the above mentioned class set to disco era music and lights!

F.A.S.T

A cutting-edge cardio, strength and plyometric class designed to take you to the next level.

Fit on the Ball

A strength and cardio class that uses the stability ball to build muscle and balance.

Hi/Low

Traditional aerobics. High intensity with a combination of high and low impact moves - you decide which is for you

NIA

A low impact class incorporating the stillness and concentration of Tai Chi, the explosive power of martial arts, and the grace and spontaneity of modern dance and traditional movement. Suitable for all levels.

Outdoor Running

Beginning running class held outside. Meet at the Las Gallinas marsh off of Smith Ranch Road. All participants must be able to run a 15-minute mile.

Pilates

The Pilates Method focuses on the whole body. This is accomplished by coordinating the upper and lower muscle systems within the body's center, thus encouraging a fluent body. This process lends to increased strength, flexibility, posture and coordination.

Sit & Be Fit

Light cardiovascular, strengthening and toning exercises utilizing weights to enhance mobility and flexibility. Performed in or with the assistance of a chair.

Start-up Strength

Similar to "Body Shop", this class focuses on Strength Training for older adults and beginners.

Step

A high intensity aerobic class which involves stepping on and off an adjustable platform. Choreographed movements challenge both the mind and body

Step & Strength

A 75-minute combination of step workout and strength exercises for a total body workout.

Stretch

A 60-minute class designed to improve alignment, flexibility and reduce injuries and stress through gentle stretching of the major muscle groups.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese moving meditation. This gentle practice can improve balance, flexibility, cardiovascular function, and the function of the immune system. Beginning to advanced level classes.

Yoga

Yoga promotes strength through flexibility and emphasizes the body, mind, and spirit. Suitable for all. Style depends upon instructor

Level I-Beginner:  New or fairly new to Yoga.  Learn proper poses, alignment and breathing techniques.

Level II-For those with a good understanding of Yoga, with at least one year of practice.
Gentle Yoga-Yoga at a gentle pace.  Great for those with movement restrictions or for more advanced student looking for a quieter, more reflective experience.

Zumba

An aerobic, total body workout with the hottest rhythms and moves.
