The Marin YMCA Older Adults Program has been bringing older adults together for fun, healthy and educational activities since 1989. You don't have to be a specific age to participate, and for some programs guests of members can attend for the Program Member fee. Bike Rides-
Twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, seniors ride 6-15 miles somewhere in the Bay Area.
Fitness Walking -
Each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at Northgate Mall, 8 a.m.
Hikes-
Hikes are between 2 to 9 miles on most Wednesdays. Participants bring a lunch and enjoy the outdoors.
Bridge-
Intermediate bridge for fun on Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon at the YMCA.
Culture Trips-
Usually on Fridays, the seniors pile into vans and go to the theatre, museums, or local gardens, etc... Occasionally there are overnight trips of two to three days as well.
