We make it easy for you to join the YMCA, with no joining fee and financial assistance available for those who qualify.

BUCHANAN YMCA MEMBERSHIP (Adult, Family, Senior)
This membership entitles you to use the fitness facilties at the Buchanan YMCA. We offer strength training, group exercise and wellness classes. All classes are included and program fees are reduced for all members. In addition, any children under 5 years of age are included in this membership.

BUCHANAN TEEN MEMBERSHIP
This membership for teens 13-17 years old is specifically designed to help teens begin to develop healthy wellness behavior. Included is an equipment orientation and full use of our facilities.

BUCHANAN PROGRAM MEMBERSHIP
Community members can enroll in specified programs, classes and special events at a cost in addition to the $35 annual program membership fee. Use of the facility is limited to the program or class in which participant is enrolled.

SAN FRANCISCO AREA MEMBERSHIP
This membership entitles you tho use all YMCAs in the San Francisco Associate including Marin, San Mateo and Suisun. All classes are included and program fees are reduced for all members. In addition, any children under 5 years of age are included in this membership.

BAY AREA MEMBERSHIP
This membership entitles you to the same benefits as a San Francisco Area Membership with the addition of allowing you to utilize any of over 31 YMCAs in the Bay Area.

FACILITY HOURS
Monday - Friday: 5:45AM - 9:00PM
Saturday: 7:30AM - 6:30PM
Sunday: 8:30AM - 5:30PM

PARKING
We have wheelchair accessable and limited free parking for members on site. In order to use these 8 spaces, you must be a member or guest of the facility.  If the parking lot is full we validate parking for up to 3 hours at the Japantown Garage across the street on Geary.  This validation is for members only. Please do not double park.
