Two Great New Classes Beginning in 2008

Indoor Cycling with Nikki, M/W/F 5:15pm

A low-impact cardiovascular workout using music and visualization techniques to create an exhilarating fast-paced and challenging ride using stationary bicycles.

Jazz Dance with Yuko, Thursdays 6:30pm

Let’s have fun while getting a great workout! Come to Yuko’s new dance class, combining Broadway musical styles, jazz dance, and great music. Whatever your level, beginner to seasoned vet, this class welcomes all. Trained in Japan and New York, Yuko has stage performance experience. Bring your sneakers or your dance shoes and get ready to have fun!

Join Buchanan YMCA's enrichment programs participants for a talent showcase you won't forget! Safe Haven, New Traditions & Dr. Cobb Elementary youth with be sure to entertain with dance groups, comedy skits, stand-up, magic shows, healthy appetizers, surprises and much more!

$5 suggested donation at the door.

Kids Night Out:

Kids Night Out Yosemite

You can help send a Y-kid to Yosemite! Some of our dedicated Buchanan YMCA volunteers from San Jose State University helped our Y-kids hand-make bath kits for our annual kids night out snow trip fundraiser. Each kit sold helps raise the funds needed to pay for transportation and lodging at Camp Curry in beautiful Yosemite national park and a full day of sledding and skiing at Badger pass ski resort and ice skating at Camp Curry. This annual trip is one of the highlights of the year for our Y-kids!

Bath kits are a donation of $25.00

-They include kid-crafted chocolate chip bath cookies, confetti glycerin soaps, milk chocolate milk bath & other special goodies!

Bath kits are available at the member welcome desk at Buchanan YMCA and

at the New Traditions Bungalow.

*Fundraiser proceeds benefit Buchanan YMCA’s Kids Night Out Snow Trip 2008 & our Strong Communities Campaign.
